Welcome to Higham’s Scarecrow Festival page
Higham Scarecrow Committee are delighted to announce details for 2026:
- Saturday 29th August – Monday 31st August 2026
- The theme is to be decided with special guest judge to be announced
- £3.50 per trail map and pen
- Free Children’s Crow trail
- Food and drink available to purchase

The Scarecrow Festival takes place over the Bank Holiday Weekend and is a much anticipated fundraising event. There will be at least 70 scarecrows on the trail around the village. There will be stewards directing cars to suitable parking around the village. Trail maps will be available to purchase at the drinks station at the bottom of the village and in the Village Hall. Hot and cold food, drinks, snacks, cakes and children’s lunch packs will be available in the Village Hall along with a raffle table and various charity stalls. Much needed funds raised from the Scarecrow Festival will go towards the upkeep of both the Village Hall and the Church.
