Lancashire Best Kept Village Competition 2022

The judges will be looking at many features and facilities of the village but in particular this year the emphasis will be on Community Involvement, No Litter, No Graffiti and Few Weeds

  • Please can you help by keeping your areas clean and tidy at all times during this period
  • Village Clean Up Days are 2nd April and 21st May

Competition Stages

  • The first round of judging starts on 1st June and will be completed by 17th July.  Judges will be walking through the village 4 times as part of this round of judging.  Villages who have got through to the Second Round will be notified around 18th July
  • Second round judging takes place between Friday 5th August and Sunday 14th August.  Villages who have got through to the Final Round will be notified by 17th August
  • Final Judging takes place on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th August
  • The Presentation event where winning villages and ‘Outstanding Features’ awards are announced is on Monday 17th October 2022
  • Full results will be published on 18th October
